I was wondering if any of your books will be available on e-readers or Nook.

Thanks for the information and help.

    Hi Jackie,
A couple of weeks ago I read your review of “50 Shades” in the Bruhnswick Beacon, at the time I was already part way through the second book, I jumped right into your report and was quite amused of your description that scenes were being doled out like “sinful truffles” . Just a bit different from the Beacons usual fare of Calabash/Carolina political wars and like BS. Having a voracious appetite for just about anything in print (History, Mystery, and literotica included) I did enjoy 50 Shades very much but found Christian just a wee bit uber powerful and wealthy even in fiction. But now comes the reason for this note…….. I jumped right into “Flash Drive”, that erotic
manuscript is the one that belongs on the best seller list. It was one that I could not put down, so graphic and also so accurate with your description of local geography and attractions. Plus a
couple of scenerios that I could personally relate to. I don’t think I will ever be able to walk across
a shopping center parking lot without checking for a zip-lok bag or a flash drive unit on the ground.
Being a couple months shy of being an octogenarian and disabled and widowed I usually read my
self to sleep each night, but, last night I was so engrossed in “flash drive” that I finally finished it
after dawn yesterday morning, I hope to meet you at a signing in the next couple of weeks and
purchase a couple of signed copies for gifts. Thanks for a great and entertaining read.

      Dave,

Wow, what a great review! You really made my day. As the book is still fairly new, I haven’t had that much feedback yet. I am so glad you enjoyed the book; it was definitely a challenge, writing a book that had stories woven through it and trying to make each story carry the theme. I loved the concept of a lost flash drive, I actually misplaced mine for a few days a few years back, so I understood the angst Laurel had. I’m sorry I cost you a night’s sleep, but thrilled you couldn’t get away from the story until it was finished. I look forward to seeing you at one of the signings and will be happy to sign some books for your friends. It’s people like you who make this writing thing a reality as it takes personal recommendations to encourage people to buy a relatively unknown author’s work these days. If you have the time, I would really appreciate it if you could post a comment or review on Amazon.com or Goodreads.com. (or both ☺ ). I usually don’t ask people to do this, but I’ve been told I have to be more aggressive with online marketing if I want to be a success at this. Thanks again for taking the time to write to me, it means a lot. Truly. Jack DeGroot
